How to Deposit a Check from your Cell Phone

Phenix-Girard’s new Mobile Deposit Capture allows you to deposit a check using your cell phone. You must use one of our Mobile Banking Apps for your Android or IOS device and your portable device must have a camera.

Please note checks scanned prior to 2:00pm will generally be posted to your account the next business day after we receive them. Checks scanned on Saturday and Sunday will generally be posted the following business day afternoon.

 

To deposit a check using Mobile Deposit Capture:

IF YOU HAVE NOT DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED OUR MOBILE BANKING APP, YOU SHOULD DO SO FIRST. THE APPS CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM:

App Store Google Play

 

CLICK ON THE ICON FOR THE MOBILE BANKING APP ON YOUR DEVICE

CLICK ON DEPOSIT CHECKS FROM THE MENU

CHECKS MUST HAVE MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY UNDER THE ENDORSEMENT

CLICK TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE FRONT OF THE CHECK

MAKE SURE YOUR CHECK IS ON A DARK SURFACE AND CLICK CONTINUE

Center the check on a dark surface, provide ample light. Align check. Application will take the photo for you.

 

ALIGN THE CHECK ON YOUR DEVICE. THE CHECK WILL BE OUTLINED IN RED WHEN THE IMAGE HAS BEEN CAPTURED!

DO THE SAME FOR THE BACK OF THE CHECK

ONCE BOTH SIDES OF YOUR CHECK HAVE BEEN SCANNED, CLICK ON REVIEW

IF EVERYTHING IS CORRECT AND THERE ARE NO ERRORS, CLICK ON SUBMIT IF THERE ERRORS THEY MUST BE CORRECTED!

YOUR CHECK HAS BEEN SENT TO PHENIX-GIRARD FOR POSTING. CHECKS SCANNED PRIOR TO 2:00PM IN WILL GENERALLY BE POSTED TO YOUR ACCOUNT THE SAME BUSINESS DAY WE RECEIVE THEM. CHECK POSTED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WILL GENERALLY BE POSTED MONDAY AFTERNOON.
